We believe artists know what their work needs. The Arts in Diversity Grant supports artist-defined projects, research, materials, access costs, documentation, and other practical steps that help a practice grow. Applications are considered with attention to clarity, context, and the potential value of the support to the artist.
WHAT IT CAN SUPPORT
Materials, research, production, access needs, documentation, artist fees, local travel, and other clearly explained project costs.
HOW WE REVIEW
We look for a clear artistic intention, a realistic use of support, and an application that communicates the artist’s own priorities.
